Selce is a gem on the Adriatic Riviera, and near Crikvenica. It offers many excellent things for tourists. The wide range of hotels, apartments, restaurants and sports-entertainment and cultural events make it a top tourist destination. The good beaches, diving centre with diving school and long swimming season (May-October) have attracted local and foreign tourists for a large number of years. Thanks to the clean air, clear sea and healing climate, Selce is known as a resort for healing cardiovascular, rheumatic and respiratory illnesses and as rehabilitation centre (Terme Selce).
