The Soriška planina tourist centre and ski resort sits at an altitude between 1,287 m and 1,550 m above sea level, and covers a total area of 25 ha. Soriška planina is a small and friendly ski centre with a favourable position of the ski slope, which boasts excellent snow conditions in winter and early spring months. The ski slope is equipped with three drag lifts and a 2-seat chairlift Lajnar, which delivers skiers to slalom, giant slalom and downhill courses. Sorica webcam – Trails with various difficulty levels are suitable for recreational skiers and for families with children, in particular. The total length of tracks is seven kilometres; one kilometre of trail is designed for expert skiers, four kilometres for intermediate skiers
and two kilometres for beginner skiers. The ski slope is appropriate for training and workout, for bigger competitions, and is also approved for FIS competitions. Soriška planina also offers the groomed cross-country trail Jelovica and a sledding trail, and if weather conditions allow, it is also possible to enjoy ski mountaineering down the top of Slatnik and Možic hills. – Sorica webcam
