The Banjole webcam shows a live view of the bay of Banjole, a calm inlet with small boats on the southern tip of Istria, a few kilometres south of Pula.
Banjole is a small coastal village in the municipality of Medulin, between Pula and Premantura. Its sheltered bay is a natural mooring for local boats, and in summer it attracts visitors who want quiet sea views away from the city centre. The live image lets you check the colour of the sea, the wind on the water and the light over the bay before you set off for a swim or a boat trip.
A quiet bay on the southern tip of Istria
The camera looks over the water of the bay, where small boats lie at their moorings and the surface changes with every shift of wind and weather. Calm, glassy water usually means good conditions for swimming, kayaking or a short trip by boat, while ripples and whitecaps are a sign that the wind has picked up. Banjole is close to both Pula and Medulin: you will find more live views on our Pula webcams page and along the coast on the Medulin webcams page.
