These Mošćenička Draga webcams show the small seaside resort of Mošćenička Draga live, on the Kvarner coast at the foot of Mount Učka, south of Opatija. The cameras look over the harbour with its fishing boats, the long pebble beach, the Sv. Ivan beach and the rocky coves of Brseč, with the island of Cres on the horizon, so you can check the weather and the sea before a swim, a walk along the promenade or a day on the coast.
The Mošćenička Draga harbour webcam looks over the small port full of boats, the waterfront houses and the main beach behind them. The Mošćenička Draga beach webcam shows the long curve of pebbles along the promenade, while the Sv. Ivan beach webcam looks out from the next beach towards the open sea and the islands. Further south, the Brseč beach webcam shows a quiet cove below white limestone cliffs, and the Mošćenička Draga centre webcam looks over a street in the heart of the village.
Mošćenička Draga grew from a small fishing harbour into one of the best-known beach resorts of the Opatija Riviera. Its main beach, Sipar, stretches for a few hundred metres and is famous for its fine, smooth pebbles, carried down over the centuries by the stream that rises on the slopes of Učka. It continues into the Sv. Ivan beach, and beyond it smaller beaches and coves can be reached on foot or by boat along the coast towards Brseč. High above the bay stands the medieval hilltop village of Mošćenice, with narrow streets, stone houses and wide views over the Kvarner Gulf, while the green slopes of Učka Nature Park offer hiking and cycling trails just behind the coast.
Live images are the quickest way to see what the day really looks like in Mošćenička Draga: sunshine or cloud over Učka, a calm or rough sea, and how busy the beaches and the harbour are at different times of day. When the bura wind blows, the sea can change quickly, so a look before you leave is useful.
