These Krk webcams show the island of Krk live, from the old town of Krk to the bridge and the ferry port on the western coast. Four live cameras let you see the weather, the sea and the atmosphere on the island in the Kvarner Gulf before you set off, whether you are planning a day by the sea, a walk through Krk town or a ferry crossing to Cres or Rab.
The four cameras cover different sides of island life. In the heart of Krk town, the Vela Placa webcam looks over the main square, with its stone well, café terraces and the facades of the old town. A short walk away, the Krk marina webcam shows the waterfront promenade and the boats moored in the town harbour.
The other two cameras follow the routes onto and off the island. The Krk Bridge webcam shows the bridge that links Krk to the mainland, the first stop for anyone arriving by car. On the western coast, the Valbiska ferry port webcam shows the port where car ferries leave for the neighbouring islands of Cres and Rab.
Live images are the quickest way to see what the day really looks like on Krk: sunshine or cloud over the old town, a calm or choppy sea in the harbour, and how lively the square and the waterfront are at different times of day. In the evening the cameras show the lights of Krk town, and outside the summer season they give a sense of the quieter island. Because each camera looks at a different part of Krk, comparing them gives a fuller picture than any single view. For more live views of the Kvarner area, browse the Primorje-Gorski Kotar webcams, or continue to the Cres webcams and the Rab webcams, the islands you can reach by ferry from Valbiska.
