These Rab webcams show the island of Rab live, from the waterfront and harbour of Rab town to the coast at Banjol. The live cameras let you see the weather, the sea and the atmosphere on the island in the Kvarner Gulf before you set off, whether you are planning a day on the beach, an evening stroll along the waterfront of Rab town or a ferry crossing from Krk.
Most cameras are in Rab town. The Rab waterfront webcam looks along Obala Petra Krešimira, the seafront promenade lined with palm trees, café terraces and boats moored along the quay. The Rab harbour webcam looks out over the town harbour and the bay, with boats at the quay and the far shore beyond.
Just outside Rab town, the Banjol webcam shows Banjol, a village just east of the town, and the sea beyond it. Together, the cameras give you a picture of the island’s main town and its quieter surroundings. Rab is also connected by ferry to Valbiska on Krk, so the webcams are a handy check before the crossing.
Live images are the quickest way to see what the day really looks like on Rab: sunshine or cloud over the old town, a calm or choppy sea in the harbour, and how lively the waterfront is at different times of day. In the evening the cameras show the lights of Rab town, and outside the summer season they give a sense of the quieter island. Because each camera looks at a different part of Rab, comparing them gives a fuller picture than any single view. It is especially useful to check them in the morning, before heading to the beach or setting off.
